MCCAMPBELLS SUPPORTER EVENT

MCCAMPBELLS TO HOST SUPPORTER APPRECIATION EVENT

On Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Stinson House(175 Gov. Hogg Pkwy.,Quitman), Dawn and I will be gathering to thank you, all of my supporters, for your hard work during the campaign and for your vote! See you there!

Why you should vote for Brad McCampbell for Wood County District Judge

I have filed (once again) for the office of District Judge of the 402nd Judicial District Court of Wood County. For those of you that supported me in the 2016 election, thank you so much. I am again asking for your vote! For those of you who supported my opponent, I would very much appreciate your reconsideration of that and vote for me this time around!

In my 35th year of law practice, I am ready for the solemn duties and responsibilities of the judicial bench. If elected, I will bring to the bench the following qualities that make a good judge: experience in the law and the ability to apply law to facts, judicial temperament, sound ethics and moral principles, integrity, impartiality, and overall good character. These qualities, in my opinion, are essential for the position of District Judge. You, the citizens, should expect nothing less. A judge must always demonstrate and promote high standards of judicial conduct. This includes the ability to make independent and impartial decisions in every case before the court. A judge must also make every effort to ensure that his or her conduct, both in and out of the courtroom, is above reproach.

In my personal life, I am very proud of my 37 years of marriage to my lovely wife, Dawn, and that my faithfulness to that union is as strong today as it was the day of our wedding in 1982. My commitment to my marriage and the moral principles resulting therefrom, and my longstanding commitment to the law, will serve me well on the bench. Simply stated, there should be no doubt about a judge’s personal and professional ethics and morality.

With the upcoming Republican Primary Election on March 3, 2020, I am seeking your VOTE of confidence in my ability to be a good judge and to serve the best interest of Wood County.
